1965–1968 Studium der Architektur in Liverpool.
1969–1970 Urban studies, Oita-University, Osaka, Japan.
1972 Diplom mit Auszeichnung, Polytechnic of Central London (jetzt University of Westminster).
1972–1976 Projektarchitekt bei Foster Associates, London.
1976–1978 Architekt in Frankreich, Bau eines Hauses mit Solarenergie.
