Lutz Seiler: Stern 111

Book Premiere

Two days after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Inge and Walter Bischoff leave their old lives behind and follow a long-held dream via emergency camps and transit dormitories. Their son Carl flees to Berlin, joins a group of young people who are fighting a guerrilla war for empty houses and run the cellar bar called Assel. Lutz Seiler continues the story of his successful novel Kruso in two large narrative arcs – a road trip halfway around the world and a novel set in Berlin about the initial post-reunification period.
