Integration of third party services and content

Third party content such as videos from YouTube, audio from Spotify and SoundCloud, JavaScript libraries or graphics from other websites may be integrated into the online offering. Because without the IP address, they cannot send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required to display such content. We endeavour only to use content from providers who use the IP address for the sole purpose of delivering the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third party providers use the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. If we are aware of such usage, we will inform the users of this.

Cookies

When you use our website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files stored on your hard disk that are assigned to the browser you are using to enable certain information to be sent to the body that sets the cookie (in this case by us). Cookies cannot execute any programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They are used to make the internet offering more user-friendly and effective overall.

Use of cookies:
The website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functioning of which are explained below:

  • Transient cookies (see a)
  • Persistent cookies (see b)
  1. Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. In particular, these include session cookies. This allows your computer to be recognised again if you revisit our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
  2. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a set period of time, which may differ according to the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time using your browser's security settings.

Your IP address is immediately anonymised during this process so that, as a user, you remain unknown to us. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will not be disclosed to third parties. You can prevent the use of cookies with the relevant settings in your browser software.

If you do not consent to the storage and analysis of these data following a visit to our website, you can subsequently withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on the checkbox.
