Residency

During my residency, I intend to focus on developing my new project and refining its form. The film delves into a journey of self-discovery within social roles, exploring how cultural background and political obstacles shape one’s identity and choices. It portrays two young women from Ukraine experiencing quite different paths to emigration. The film employs a diverse range of media, including observational footage, archives, animation, and photography. During my stay in Berlin, I would like to concentrate on shaping the visual narrative of the film and its aesthetic.
