“Let us live” – An evening for Mario Wirz

Talk, Reading and Archive Presentation

Overshadowed by illness from an early age, Mario Wirz (1956–2013) led an intense, sensual life. Love, transience and death are the major themes of his texts. Every line, every sentence is a confession of his personality. Peter Geist and Holger Wicht talk about the writer's life and work, André J. Walther reads and Gabriele Radecke presents the Akademie der Künste's Mario Wirz Archive. The event is part of the “Schaufenster Archiv” series and is organised in cooperation with the Mario Wirz Stiftung.

Livestream of the event on 28 May
